here’s an odd one.  i just found a really great pairing of sensations.   i was just sitting at my desk watching a ten minute long youtube video of a rainstorm in australia on mute.  lately i have a really romantic/nostalgiac attachment to rainstorms.  they’re really relaxing.  i think everyone can agree on that.  who doesn’t like to sleep while it’s storming?

anyways.

while that was happening, i was listening to “the righteous brothers”, and by god their records have this really specific hall style reverb that i love…it just seemed to match perfectly with the storm video.  an odd one i know, but if you get a chance, try this one out.  i think you’ll be happy with the results!

it is my way to either become overwhelmed or bored by whatever process i’m working through at any given time. currently i’m both.

i’m on a few prescriptions at the moment, for the flu and otherwise.  though i’m still really weak, i’m also pleasantly entertained by nothing at all.  it’s kinda nice.  once i get my energy back, i’ve got some big plans for the next few months.  first off will be a super duper garage sale to help fund our re-location.  if you want to donate some crap for us to sell, please let me know.  we need the scratch.

hello. this is my new blog. it’s here to keep you all in touch.

in three short months, my wife and i will be moving away from our home here in austin, texas.  we are relocating to fayetteville, arkansas where i will be attending graduate school.  i have to admit, i’m really sad to be leaving austin.  but i am very very excited about the new opportunities and weather.  anyways.  that’s what this is.

after having the flu for a week, i’m just about back up and running.  i feel fine, but if i’ve been doing anything for more than twenty minutes (doing laundry for example), i have to lie down and rest for thirty minutes.  really annoying.  heather is sick now too.  i have been away from work for 8 days now, and that is actually proving to be too long of a break–considering that i’ve been sleeping a majority of that time.  so…the antibiotics are working, and i’ll be on them for another four days.  more to come.
