i finally saw my guitar (different year, same model) in a movie. it was…uh…walk hard. during the high school talent show, this tiny dude is playing it. appropriate as it’s a student guitar and short scale. his has an extended pickguard, which is kinda ugly, but the finish is the same, etc. this was not worth a blog post…

for our anniversary this year, heather got me this awesome turtles record, which has reignited my love for other groups of the same ilk. you know, the buckinghams, later on the classics IV, etc. however, it’s really REALLY hard to beat the turtles. i think the left banke would have if they had been around longer. if you read this, you know that every now and then i post something specifically for nick. this song is one that i know he’ll like and hope the rest of you will too. unfortunately, or maybe appropriately, every youtube post featuring this song was a ridiculous collage of bad imagery. this was the least awful:
